Well lo and behold, the lady has done it again! Her fourth year in a row to make to the list of Vanity Fair’s International Best Dressed List. Michelle Obama, the First Lady of the United States of America can give many of the most celebrated actors around the world a run for their money with her chic sense of style and interest in womens clothing.
Michelle Obama can graze through the White House lawns with her much-discussed sleeveless t-shirts and shorts and still make a fashion statement. Imagine, she has got women envying her well toned arms too and she sure knows how to flaunt it!
Through the last couple of years, President Obama may not be doing too well in the opinion polls with citizens divided over his handling of the country but with his better half the story is altogether different. She has been able to woe friends and foes alike irrespective of the equation they share with her husband through her delectable mannerisms and presentation.
Her penchant for stylish clothes has been the topic of discussion from the day she has entered the White House, actually even before that. While Sarah Palin had to go running up a tab of thousands of dollars to make her more appealing to the average American, Michelle Obama has never had to make a special effort to look well-groomed.
With Mrs. O, the designer dress is not necessarily what makes her look good, she makes the dress look good by wearing it. On the day of the Inauguration Ball from President Obama she carried off wearing a Jason Wu designed full skirted gown rather than donning an Oscar De La Renta or a Versace.
Michelle Obama proves the old adage true that beauty is only skin deep, what really matters is how you are from the inside. This First Lady is really all about confidence, focus, and élan. Way to go Mrs. O.
